MISSION STATEMENT

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The campus values academics, encourages healthy competition and prides itself on offering opportunities to participate in intercollegiate sports at the championship level while students earn their degrees.

VISION

We are recognized for the exemplary character, achievements and contributions of our student-athletes to better our society.

CORE VALUES

  • Student-Athlete Well-Being: We are committed to the health, safety, academic, athletic and personal growth of each student.
  • Integrity: We do the right thing and hold each other accountable.
  • Respect: We respect all people, their culture, beliefs, identity and thoughts.
  • Stewardship: We are responsible guardians of the University's resources, relationships and reputation.
  • Family: We are a collaborative team supporting one another.

TRADITION

The Tuscarawas campus has a rich history of athletic competition in the Kent State Regional Campus and Ohio Regional Campus Conferences. Membership in the USCAA now gives the Golden Eagles the opportunity to play for National Championships as well as vie for National All-American awards, National All-Academic awards and much more. Many USCAA member schools are dual members of the NCAA and NAIA. This means our schedules will contain NCAA D-II, D-III and NAIA schools - definitely a step up in competition!
