Patrick Beckley has been a personal coach as well as a volunteer coach for the Claymont Youth Bowling League (CYBL) from 2016-2020. The CYBL serves youth from ages 6-18 and provides a developmental program and improvement instruction program for Claymont High School’s boys and girls varsity bowling teams. The players on the Golden Eagles bowling team are confident in his abilities, as he is credited with singlehandedly helping one of its bowlers improve her average over the season by nearly 20 pins.

An avid bowler, Patrick bowled in the Twin City Bowling Association League from 2012-2019 at Alpa Lanes and was leagues secretary from 2015-2019. He worked with a member of the Bethune Cookman and Notre Dame College bowling teams who earned collegiate bowling scholarships. Patrick’s two daughters bowled collegiately as well and benefitted greatly from his knowledge and tutelage. He is a registered bowler with the United States Bowling Congress.

Patrick has been employed by the State of Ohio as an Assistant State Fire Marshall as an Underground Storage Tank Inspector for 13 years and has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Fire Science. He has taught fire prevention and life safety courses throughout East Central Ohio and also served as Industrial Fire Brigade Training Coordinator at the Ohio Fire Academy where he scheduled and led numerous training courses.

He in an instructor for and has earned American Red Cross CPR and AED certificates, while also holding an instructor certificate as an American Red Cross Basic Life Support instructor.
