Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2019 Green High School senior to their Baseball team. On February 21, 2019, Justin Crowl signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.

For four years, Justin has played left and centerfield for Green H.S. and also for Playball Academy's Akron A's Summer Travel team for the last 7 years.  The A's are a top-level travel team playing in the Diamond League in Cleveland, and High Level Regional tournaments in the Midwest. He is a left-handed hitter with explosive speed---6.8 sec. in the 60 yd. dash---and has consistently led his teams in stolen bases and On-Base-Percentage.  Justin has maintained a 3.5 Grade Point average throughout his high school career, with a 4.0 his senior year while taking Honors Calculus.  He is also a leader at his church and regularly Acolytes on Sundays and Holidays.

"We are proud to have such an accomplished young man of Justin's caliber sign with us," said Adam Wilson, Head Baseball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "He has a great academic record and is very involved in his community. He is a great addition to our team and will also give us some much needed speed in the outfield and on the base paths, which will help us manufacture more runs."

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
