Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles lost to Penn state Shenango 10-6 on Wednesday.
 
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Penn state Shenango committed an error, and Jeremy Patchett hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
 
Penn state Shenango took the lead in the top of the second inning after Fornataro singled to center field, and Bauchman singled to center field, each scoring two runs.
 
Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles made the score 6-4 in the bottom of the second after Nathan Ashcraft singled, scoring one run, Alex Biars singled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.
 
Penn state Shenango captured the lead, 7-6, in the top of the fifth after Kurut grounded out, and #8 singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
 
#14 earned the win for Penn state Shenango. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking none. Brenton Billman took the loss for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles. The starter went five innings, surrendering seven runs (three earned) on 10 hits, striking out three and walking two. A Terholt stepped on the bump first for Penn state Shenango. The hurler gave up three hits and six runs (four earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking five.

Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles couldn't keep up with Penn state Shenango and fell 12-5 on Wednesday.
 
Penn state Shenango jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after #22 singled, scoring one run, and Gypher hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs.
 
Brenton Billman hit a solo home run to center field in the bottom of the first for the Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.
 
Penn state Shenango extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI  by #22 and Malley.
 
An error extended the Penn state Shenango lead to 6-1 in the top of the third inning.
 
Penn state Shenango scored six runs on six hits in the top of the fifth inning. Coushara singled, scoring one run, #38 singled, scoring one run, #22 singled, scoring one run, Bauchman doubled, scoring one run, Malley singled, scoring one run, and Kurut grounded out, scoring one run.
 
Dakota Foltz pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.
