Kent State Tuscarawas began the Cheer Kent Tusc cheer and dance team in Fall 2018 and cheer for the Golden Eagles home basketball games and wrestling matches. In Spring 2019, the team plans to host a regional cheer and dance competition for local high schools, as well as begin competing nationally in collegiate cheer and dance competions.
New uniforms, new cheer teammates and a new era began during the first home basketball game on October 28 for the Golden Eagles.
