The Kent State Tuscarawas men's basketball team wrapped up a long road trip falling to Wright State Lake 76-73 in Celina, Ohio on Sunday. It was the second setback on the weekend road trip that included games against two USCAA foes.

In a game that was close throughout, the Golden Eagles trailed by three points at halftime (36-33) and managed to take a nine point lead in the second half before a parade of Lakers went to the foul line to take control of the game.

Gunnar Tharp had an outstanding afternoon for the Navy and Gold as he blitzed WSU Lake with seven three point baskets and finished as the games leading scorer with 29 points. He also led KSU in rebounds with six. Malik Campbell was also in double figures with 11 points and also contributed five rebounds and five assists. Trevor Donaldson make three long distance shots and added a free throw and ended the game with 10.

The Golden Eagles are back in action on Tuesday when they host Villa Maria College in a 5 p.m. contest.
