The Eagles third outing of the season didn't go as planned as they finished 14th in an 18-team field at the Grove City Fall Invitational on Thursday. It was a day of missed opportunities for KSU Tusc as a very tough course they saw for the first-time during play, combined with tricky wind gusts had them second guessing themselves most of the day.

With just three birdies on the afternoon the Eagles still managed to stay afloat enough to top the team right behind them in the final standings by 20 strokes and the last place team by 60 strokes at Grove City Country Club.

Dakota Wright (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia,OH) led the Navy and Gold with a round of 43/43/86, and Nick Reeder (North Union/Richwood,OH) carded a 44/44/88 with one birdie. Austin Brooks (Lakeview/Warren,OH) went 46/46/92 and Cameron McIntosh (Harrison Central/Hopedale,OH) had a 47/52/99.

Next up for the Eagles is the Golden Eagles Invitational to be held at Oak Shadows Golf Club on September 24.
