For the second straight week Nick Reeder finished near the top of the leaderboard, this time leading the Golden Eagles Golf Team to a sixth-place finish at the Westminster Titan Invitational on Monday.

Playing the 6652-yard Avalon Field Club layout in New Castle, PA, Reeder parred seven of his first eight holes en route to a round of three over par 75. He finished third as an individual just four strokes behind the medalist round of the day (71) and only two strokes behind the runner-up medalist who shot 73. Reeder went out in 38 making seven pars on the outward nine and shot 37 on the inward side with two birdies and four pars---finishing with a birdie on the final hole.

The Eagles shot a team score of 340 and outscored Geneva College, Mt. Aloysius, St. Vincent, Thiel, LaRoche, Waynesburg and Point Park. They also finished just four strokes back of Mount Union who finished in fifth.

Sophomore Dakota Wright carded an 45/39/84 and birdied his final hole of the day as well and made a birdie and seven pars. Cameron McIntosh went 44/46/90 and Austin Brooks shot 47/45/92 to round out the Golden Eagles scoring.

The Eagles enjoy an off-week until Sunday when they travel to State College, PA, for the USCAA National Championships on Penn State's Blue Course.

Cameron just missed this putt from off the green.
