The Golden Eagles grapplers lost the middle match of the day in their first home quad ever, as they fell 37-15 to Mott University from Flint, Michigan. The Black Bears jumped out to a 17-3 lead and never looked back as the Golden Eagles would get not closer than 20-9.

The only Golden Eagles points scored on the mat was a 4-3 decision by Austin Bailey (Sharpsburg, GA / Northgate) who won a 4-3 decision in the 141 lb. match. The other Navy and Gold points were scored by Collin Mancuso and Carl Chaney via forfeits.
