The KSU Tusc volleyball team hit the road to Kirtland, Ohio on Wednesday night to take on Lakeland Community College and came away with a 23-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-20 three-set victory over the homestanding Lakers.

It was the third consecutive win for the Golden Eagles who pushed their record to 3-5 on the season as they once again showed they could win closely contested matches. Unlike previous matches however, the Eagles relied more on their front line and back row play instead of the serving line to rally past the LCC.

On the night KSU Tusc recorded 38 kills, 31 assists, 39 digs and eight service aces.

Lindsey Seibert led the way with 11 kills, 16 assists and four digs while Lincoln Raymond had 17 digs for the Navy and Gold. Mya Blochlinger had 12 kills and Corrine Sanders added 11 assists, six kills and four digs, Alexis Zehnder dug 10 balls and Lilli Peterson made five kills to go along with three solo blocks.

The Golden Eagles will now have a break until Saturday, September 25th when they travel to Potomac State College for a tri match with the Catamounts and Harford (MD) Community College.
