Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2024 Fairless High School senior to their volleyball team.

Jaileigh Price recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Golden Eagles.

Price, primarily a middle hitter, was a four-year letterwinner for the Falcons volleyball team and lettered once in basketball. She was selected to the Stark County First Team and received Honorable Mentions on the Principals Athletic Conference (PAC) 7 and Northeast District 5 volleyball teams. In fall 2023 she was named as the blue and silver's Offensive Player of the Year and served as team captain for two seasons. She plays club volleyball at Zero Gravity. Price had a kill percentage of 42% with 193 kills during her final season for the Falcons and had a hitting percentage of .266 with 50 blocks.

In high school, she has earned a 3.8 cumulative GPA and attends R.G. Drage Career & Technical Center where she studies early childhood education. She also earned recognition from the National Technical Honor Society and National High School Scholars Society.

She will pursue a Bachelor's of Early Childhood Education degree at Kent State Tuscarawas.

"Jaileigh will present a huge net presence in the front row for our program," said KSU Tuscarawas Head Volleyball Coach Cortney Goodwin. "She is a dynamic and athletic middle who we are excited to work with. With her competitive attitude, we expect big things from her right away next season."
