Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2024 Shenandoah High School senior to their volleyball team.

On Monday, Kadence Noll signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Golden Eagles.

Noll, primarily a libero, was a three-year letterwinner for the Zeppelins volleyball team. She was selected to the 2024 District 12 Second Team and played in the District 12 All-Star game. In her sophomore and junior years, the Zeps made it to the Sweet 16 and this year she helped lead the Zeps (27-1) to the OHSAA DIV State Semifinals before falling to the eventual state champions 3-1. It was the first time that a Shenandoah HS team had reached the Final Four in any sport. Noll amassed 681 digs in her career----337 in her senior season---with a 12 dig per match average and received 835 serves with a 78% serve/receive percentage. She accounted for Zeppelin 558 points from the service line, achieved a 96.2% serve percentage and served up 80 aces (21 in her final season).

A four-year varsity letterwinner for the Lady Zeps basketball team, Noll received a 2022 team defensive award, and in 2024 she earned a SHS Captain Award, Second Team District 12 honors, First Team Mid-Ohio Valley League and Honorable Mention East District.

In high school, she has earned recognition on the Honor's List as a freshman, sophomore and senior. She also earned a science seal for passing the State of Ohio biology test as a sophomore and she will soon receive an Ohio Means Jobs readiness seal for completing classroom observations in elementary and preschool classrooms during her senior year.

Her community service includes helping paint a local community building during a renovation project, cleaning the high school gym and organizing the athletic equipment and working the concession stand for many sporting events.

She will pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education degree at Kent State Tuscarawas.

"Kadence brings the valuable experience of having played in high level pressure situations, especially coming off a Final Four season," said KSU Tuscarawas Head Volleyball Coach Cortney Goodwin. "Knowing our expectations of wanting to compete for a shot at the national title in 2024, we believe that she will be able to handle the stress of playing the back row and she will add great value to our program."
