Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2024 Licking Valley High School senior to their volleyball team.

On Wednesday, Rylee Sensabaugh signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles.

Sensabaugh, an outside hitter, was a four-year letterwinner for the Panthers volleyball team and was an Honorable Mention Licking County League (LCL) recipient in 2023. She had a career total of 353 kills and 307 digs, making 113 kills her senior season with a kill percentage of 32% in 356 attacks for the red, blue and white who play in District II of the OHSAA Central District. In 2021 she received the Licking Valley HS Coaches Award.

Academically, she is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and a four-year Gold Card Holder reserved for students who have GPA of 4.0 or higher. She was also recognized as a four-year Scholar Athlete and was a 2023 Licking County student representative to the Newark Rotary Club.

She will pursue a nursing degree at Kent State Tuscarawas.

"Rylee's size and net presence will be a huge help this season with blocks and block touches that will help slow down opponent's attacks," said KSU Tuscarawas Head Volleyball Coach Cortney Goodwin. "With our already strong back row this is a massive advantage that we have lacked in the past. She is very coachable and possesses natural abilities, so we look forward to great things from her throughout the season."
