Payton Gottshall is a standout professional softball pitcher currently competing with Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball. A 2024 NFCA First Team All-American, she finished her collegiate career at the University of Tennessee, where she posted a dominant 20-5 record with a 1.37 ERA and 164 strikeouts in her final season.

Gottshall began her career at Bowling Green, where she was named the 2022 MAC Pitcher of the Year and compiled over 1,000 strikeouts in her NCAA career. She wrapped up college with a 94-37 record, 1.70 ERA, and 1,078 strikeouts across 799.2 innings.

In addition to her pro career, Gottshall is in her second year as an assistant coach at Kent State Tuscarawas, helping develop the next generation of softball talent.
