Men’s Basketball falls in season opener to Kent State-Tuscarawas

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. - On Saturday, Penn State New Kensington Men's Basketball faced off against Kent State-Tuscarawas to open their season, falling to the Golden Eagles by a score of 65-96.

Freshman Aubrey Feaster II (Buffalo, N.Y. / William B. Travis) led the team with 18 points, shooting 8-12 from the field. Freshman Benjamin Cunningham (Woodbridge, Va./Christ Chapel) and sophomore Jared Sidwell (Apollo, Pa./Harvest Baptist) both came off the bench to put up double-digits, contributing eleven and ten points, respectively. Senior Joseph Dusabe (Toronto, Ont. / Fox Chapel) ended with a team-high ten rebounds, while also adding eight points and two blocks.

New Kensington men's basketball will look to bounce back when they host Westmoreland County Community College on Monday, November 8th. Tipoff is at 6:00p.m.
