KSU Tuscarawas To Debut Women's Bowling Fall 2019

This fall women's bowling will debut at Kent State Tuscarawas. The Golden Eagles have hired successful long-time Carrollton High School Coach, Vera Fox, who has recently hit the recruiting trail.

The Navy and Gold will compete in many tournaments that feature NCAA D1, D2 and D3 squads such as; the Buckeye Baker Classic, BGSU Falcon Classic, Muskie Mash, Hoinke Bearcat Classic, Rotogrip Raider Classic and many more.

Fox has more than 30 years of combined experience as a bowling coach, founded the girl's bowling program at CHS and has been named Stark County Bowling Conference Coach of the Year for seven (7) consecutive years. She was also tabbed as the Northeastern Buckeye Conference Coach of the Year for 2017-2018---the first year that bowling was recognized as a league sport in the NBC.

Her Warriors teams were crowned District Champs for the last two seasons, which qualified them for the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships. She has a certified bowling coach certificate---level one---through the United States Bowling Congress, and has a Fundamentals of Coaching certificate through the USBC in 2007.

KSU Tuscarawas female students interested in bowling should text or call Coach Fox at 330-205-0702, or by email to badapplefox@yahoo.com.
