Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the recent signing of a 2019 Sandy Valley High School senior to their bowling team. Rybecca Rennie signed her Letter of Intent last week to be a member of the Women's Bowling Team for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.

Rennie is a four-year letter winner for the Cardinals and earned team MVP her senior year.  As a result of the hard work and performance throughout the year, Rybecca was chosen as an All-Star at the end of the season, after serving as the anchor bowler for her team. She placed 8th overall at the Sectional championships and advanced to the District meet, along with fellow Golden Eagle commit Montana Boyer.  In the classroom Rybecca has also excelled, earning multiple Honor Roll certificates and being active in the Science Club.  She also was chosen to attend Buckeye Girl State her Junior year.  Rybecca is also active in her church, Deuber Chuch, where she volunteers in the after-school program.

"Rybecca is exactly the type of young woman we are looking to add as we start our program here at Kent Tusc," said Vera Fox, Head Bowling Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "She has worked hard her entire career to keep improving every time she is at the lanes.  We feel extremely blessed that we can bring in a very good bowler and an even better person to create a championship atmosphere!"

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
