Bowlers Reach New Highs At Wayne Webb

Three KSU Tuscarawas bowlers improved on their season-high individual series as the ladies finished 11th of 11 teams in the second Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament of the year. The tournament was held at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday.

For the second consecutive week, freshman Kylie Miklovic (Akron, OH / Norton) led the Golden Eagles as she rolled a season and collegiate-career high 538 series (162-194-172) to finish 27th as an individual in a field of 75 bowlers. She averaged 179.33 per game and her previous season-high was 498.

Carleen Fouts (Louisville, OH / Louisville) was second on the team and rolled a three-game series of 472 (147-132-193) averaging 157.33 per game and beating the 445 she rolled last week. Madyson Robbins (New Philadelphia, OH / New Philadelphia) contributed a 437 (139-149-149), which was 111 pins better than her earlier season high of 326 and a 146.66 average this week. Nicole Gruszecki contributed a 281 (76-111-94) as she broke in a new ball.

The Golden Eagles will compete in the third Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament of the season, scheduled for AMF Sawmill Lanes in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, February 27.
