Fouts Places 5th At OBC Championship, Receives Sportsmanship Award

Freshman, Carleen Fouts (Louisville, OH / Louisville), was one of two KSU Tuscarawas bowlers who participated in the Ohio Bowling Conference Championship on Saturday and came home with two medals.

Fouts finished fifth overall as an individual in the final Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament of the year, that was held at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl in Columbus, Ohio. She saved her best for last by rolling her highest series of the season (189-179-166) for a 534 and an average of 178 per game.

Not only did Fouts place high on the leaderboard, but she received a Champions of Character Award that is given to a bowler who goes above and beyond for her team and shows exemplary attitude and sportsmanship.

Fellow frosh, Kylie Miklovic (Akron, OH / Norton) also participated.

The Golden Eagles have completed their first full season as members of the Ohio Bowling Conference and look forward to a very bright future.
