The Golden Eagles Bowling Team traveled to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday for the season opening tournament of the Ohio Bowling Conference. In the tournament held at Palace Lanes there were women's 14 teams.

Freshman, Tory Thompson, a graduate of Harrison Central High School, led the way for KSU Tusc knocking down 592 pins in a 106/168/145/173 four-game series for an average of 148 good enough to place her 30th as an individual in a field of 96 bowlers. Finishing 36th overall was sophomore Kylie Miklovic who rolled 159/133/125/165 for a 582 series and an average of 145.5, while newcomer Carenda Fowler (140.75) a Carrollton High School product was 38th with a 168/123/134/138 563 series.
