Eagles Compete In Roto Grip Raider Classic

On Saturday, the Kent State Tuscarawas women's bowling team traveled to Kettering, Ohio---just outside of Dayton---to participate in the Roto Grip Raider Classic. The tournament was held at Poelking Woodman Lanes and cosponsored by Roto Grip and Wright State University Bowling.

Leading the way for the Golden Eagles in five tenpin matches was Tory Thompson with an average of 157.4 on the day. Thompson rolled a 787 series with games of 165/149/173/142/158.

Also rolling for the Navy and Gold were Kylie Miklovic who had games of 129/115/146/163, with a team-high game of 176 for a 729 series and an average of 145.8. Carenda Fowler bowled a 700 and an average of 140 with games of 166/97/151/161/125.

As a team the Eagles rolled a team total of 2216 for a team average of 443.2 per game.

Next Saturday, November 20th, the Golden Eagles participate in the BGSU Falcon Classic at Southwyck Lanes in Toledo, Ohio. Bowling begins at 8:30 a.m.
