Bowling Team More Consistent At Falcon Classic

The Golden Eagles bowling team competed in the Bowling Green Falcon Classic on Saturday and had their most consistent performance on the season. The tournament was held at Southwyck Lanes in Toledo, Ohio.

Tory Thompson paced the Eagles who rolled their highest team total of the season with a score of 2301 total pins and games of 468/463/467/467/436. They eclipsed their previous high mark of 2216 achieved last week at the Roto Grip Raider Classic in Kettering, Ohio. As a team, KSU Tusc finished 20th out of 20 teams with just three bowlers competing.

Thompson rolled a five-game series of 809 with scores of 148/164/163/159/175 for an average of 161.8 per game. Thompson finished 48th as an individual in a field of 137 bowlers. Carenda Fowler was next with an average score of 155 and a 775 series, as she rolled games of 171/129/166/167/142 and was 57th overall, while Kylie Miklovic was 70th with a 717 series and games of 149/170/138/141/119 and an average of 143.4.

Next up for the ladies will be the Hall of Fame City Cavalier Classic hosted by Walsh University. The tournament will be held on Saturday, December 4th at AMF Hall of Fame Lanes in Canton, Ohio.
