Bowling Team Consistent At OBC Tourney #4

The Kent State Tusc Women's Bowling Team hit the road on Saturday for Ohio Bowling Conference Tournament No. 4, held at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl.

The ladies had a very consistent showing from top to bottom in the lineup, with just 38 pins separating the team's top bowler on the afternoon from the fourth bowler. Makenna Wimer led the Golden Eagles with a 563 series.

Wimer rolled a 133/138/152/140 for an average of 140.75 pins knocked down per game. She finished 62nd as an individual in a field of 104 bowlers. Max Shoemaker was next with a team-high individual game of 174.5 on the day and was 64th overall. She rolled a 174/114/143/127/558 and had a game average of 139.5. Kylie Miklovic was 66th and had games of 118/131/135/164 to finish with a 548 series and a 137 per game average, while Ashlee Burns (72nd) added a 525 series with games of 111/123/149/142 and a 131.25 average.

On the afternoon the Eagles rolled games of 536/506/579/573 for a total of 2194 pins and finished 14th of 15 teams.

Next up for the Eagles is the Ohio Bowling Conference Championship on Saturday, March 26 at Sawmill Lanes in Columbus. Bowling begins at 10:00 a.m.
