Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2024 Monroe Central High School senior to the women's bowling team.

AnnieJane Cunningham recently signed a National Letter of Intent to roll for the Golden Eagles.

Cunningham is a one-year letterwinner for the Seminoles bowling team. She was inspired by her mother to start bowling and she did not disappoint. She was selected as a member of the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) All-Star Bowling Team her senior season and her team finished as runners-up in the OVAC conference tournament. She started bowling in Little Leagues when she was nine.

Her volunteerism includes 4-H and she has shown horses since she was eight years old and has competed in many horse shows since that time. She joined 4-H because of her love for horses.

She made the Principal's List her senior year and will pursue a nursing degree at Kent State Tuscarawas.

"AnnieJane has excelled over the last year and averages in the 170-180 range," said KSU Tuscarawas Head Women's Bowling Coach Patrick Beckley. "She finished in the Top 10 in the OHSAA DII Sectional Tournament and is looking forward to continuing her young bowling career at KSU Tusc. She's dealt with a lot of adversity, is a very cordial young lady and puts a lot time and effort into her game."
