The Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles participated in their first-ever fall-ball season when they hosted Edison State Community College on Fondriest Field at Kent State Tuscarawas in early September. The Navy and Gold split the doubleheader winning the first game 2-0 and losing the nightcap 9-2. Nick Lung was the winning pitcher in the first game working six innings while surrendering just one hit, striking out six batters and walking just one. The bulk of the Golden Eagles 30-game schedule will be played in the Spring of 2019.
