It was recently announced that three members of the Golden Eagles baseball team earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Awards during the Spring of 2019 semester of competition.

Lucas Kail, Kade Rainsberg and Kyle Stotzer were all recognized for merit and excellence in the classroom as USCAA student athletes. All three earned grade point averages well above the required 3.6 GPA required to qualify for academic honors and each made the Kent State Tuscarawas Dean's List as well.

Kail, a graduate of Sandy Valley High School in Magnolia, Ohio, is seeking a Bachelor's of Arts in Applied Communications, while Rainsberg, a graduate of Dover High School located in Dover, Ohio, is working toward a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Stotzer, an alum of Tuscarawas Valley High School in Zoarville, Ohio, is earning a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education.  It was the second time that Rainsberg has earned academic All-American status. His first came during the Fall 2018 golf season. All are juniors.
