Golden Eagles sophomore point guard, Malik Campbell, was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association D-II Player-of-the-Week on Tuesday, November 16th.
Campbell had a stellar week for KSU Tusc. He scored 62 points in three games versus, Hocking College (NJCAA), Thomas More University (NAIA) and Defiance College (NCAA D-III) which is an average of 20.6 points per game. He also had a game high 24 points against Defiance. Campbell converted on 25/40 field goals (63%), made 9/12 shots from behind the three-point arc (75%), was 8/11 from the free throw line (73%), grabbed 19 rebounds, dished out 17 assists and had 6 steals for the week.
He is a graduate of Canton South High School.
The Golden Eagles host Cincinnati Clermont College on Saturday, November 30 at 2 p.m.
