The Kent State Tuscarawas Athletic Department will honor Gunnar Tharp, the lone senior on the men's basketball team, on Wednesday night before tip-off when they host Akron Wayne in Founders Hall Gym. It's the last home game of the season as the Golden Eagles still hope to make the post season championship tournament.

Tharp, who has amassed 1751 points in his collegiate career, was recognized as a USCAA Honorable Mention All-American in 2017 and has been the Golden Eagles leading 3-point shooter over three seasons. He transferred to KSU Tusc from Akron Wayne when his father, Rich, was hired to coach the Navy and Gold.

Game time is 7:15 p.m. and admission is $5 at the door. All KSU Tusc students will be admitted free with their student ID.
