Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2020 Indian Valley High School senior to the men's basketball team. On May 7, 2020, Ethan McPeek signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Golden Eagles.

McPeek, primarily a point guard, was a two-year letter winner for the Braves basketball team and a four-year letterman in cross country at IVHS. He earned First Team Best of Preps, Honorable Mention East District and Honorable Mention Inter Valley Conference his senior season.

"Ethan is going to be a great fit for our team," said Richard Tharp, Head Men's Basketball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "His teammates are going to love him, because he is a great ball handler and is really efficient in sharing the ball which creates lots of opportunities for his teammates. His pull-up jumper and ability to break down the defense also make him a hard-guard."

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
