Trailing by only 10 points at the half against Bryant & Stratton Buffalo, the Golden Eagles collapsed in the final 20 minutes scoring just 18 points as the Bobcats stole the show and won convincingly 87-53.

The Eagles were the aggressors early and led 4-0 and 21-14 before the road weary Bobcats got their legs and surged ahead 42-29. The visitors wreaked havoc over the final nine minutes of the stanza and stole their way to the lead and the game.

BSB stole the ball from the Eagles 10 times in the first half, leading to empty KSU Tusc possessions while converting the takeaways into payoffs on the offensive end of the floor. They were also aided by releasing players downcourt on each Golden Eagles shot attempt and hitting the sprinting outlets for easy baskets.

It didn't help that KSU Tusc shot their way out of the game. The Navy and Gold shot just 23% from the floor in the second half and made just 20/61 attempts (33%) for the game. They also committed 25 turnovers while the Bobcats enjoyed 32 points that came via 17 thefts of KSU Tusc possessions.

For the sixth time on the season, DeJuan Lawrence (Akron, OH / Kenmore) recorded a double-double. Lawrence scored 16 points and cleared 12 missed shots off the glass. He was joined in double figures by London Cobbs (Chicago, IL / Roosevelt) who scored 11 and Arthur Jackson (Euclid, OH / Euclid) added 10.

The Golden Eagles fall to 1-8 on the season and visit Penn Highlands in Johnstown, PA on Tuesday, before hosting Terra State on Thursday in their final home game of the season.
