"There is so much to say about the talents of such a fine young man that I am at a loss at where to start," said Richard Tharp, Head Basketball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "Kyle has certainly excelled on the basketball court and I am convinced that he hasn't reached his full potential yet. He can, and has done it all, and has a deep desire to succeed. People look at him and say, 'boy that kid is a scorer', but when you look at his body of work you truly see that he is a worker. Workers find a way and have the will to get the job done. Having him commit to our campus and get his brother Kameron in a transfer is so special."

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
