It was a very inauspicious beginning to a long and entangled afternoon for KSU Tusc in Monaca, PA, on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles trailed 5-0 and didn't score their first points until five plus minutes had expired from the game clock.

They managed to fight from behind and take three short-lived leads---the last at 19-17---but a subsequent 12-1 run by the Community College of Beaver County closed the first half for a 35-28 Titans lead.

CCBC continued to confound the Eagles with a 13-0 spurt to begin the final 20 minutes of play leaping to a 48-28 advantage. It took KSU Tusc until the 16:14 mark of the final half to score their first points and stop the scoreless drought that had tapped out the Eagles for nearly nine minutes of empty possessions in an 83-57 loss to the Titans.

The hosts never let up and with 8:57 left in the game, took their largest lead at 68-41 having outgunned the navy and gold by a 33-13 count over the first 11 minutes of the final half.

Kameron Shockley paced three Golden Eagles in double figures scoring 12 points, while Kyle Shockley and DeJuan Lawrence both chipped in with 11 points each.

KSU Tusc now finds themselves 2-3 on the season and travel to Pittsburgh, PA, on Sunday, November 27th for a 1:00 p.m. tip off against Point Park University. The game will be played at the Community College of Allegheny County.
