Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024

For the second time in recent weeks, the Golden Eagles Kyle Shockley has been selected as the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, DII, Player-of-the-Week. Shockley, a junior, and leading scorer for KSU Tusc, joins London Cobbs---who was named USCAA POTW twice in the 2022 season---as the only two Golden Eagles athletes to accomplish this feat.

In a game at Penn State Fayette on Friday, Shockley took game scoring honors by tallying 40 points in a 97-87 win over the Lions. He scored on six straight KSU Tusc possessions and netted 22 points on 11 of 14 Golden Eagles offensive sets over a 10 minute period in the second half that allowed the navy and gold to take a 10-point lead. He made 16/21 action shots (76%), converted on 8-12 free throws, grabbed five rebounds, dished out five assists, had two steals and blocked two shots to go along with two dunks.
