Although the Golden Eagles fell in a close game that went down to the wire, a historic moment made the evening unforgettable. With 3:34 left in the first half, Kyle Shockley broke the ALL-TIME SCORING RECORD for Kent State Tuscarawas with a fast-break layup. The crowd erupted in applause, honoring Shockley's remarkable 4-year career. The previous record of 1,646 points was held by Gunnar Tharp.
