Golf Team Opens the Fall 2018 Season in Indiana

The Kent State Tuscarawas golf team kicked off the Fall 2018 season with a ninth-place finish in the Indiana University Eastern Invitational held at the Richmond Elks Country Club in Indiana. The Golden Eagles shot a team total of 327, while tournament winner Indiana University Kokomo shot 292.

Sophomore Jacob Moore (River View HS / Coshocton, OH) led the way for the Golden Eagles with a round of 79 that included eight pars and one birdie. Joe Cottis (Claymont HS / Uhrichsville, OH) a freshman carded an 80 that included 10 pars, while sophomore Kade Rainsberg (Dover HS / Dover, OH) also shot an 80 and had nine pars and a birdie. Jordan Delillo (Fairless HS / Beach City, OH) added a round of 88.

The Golden Eagles were the only non NAIA school playing in the field.
