Eagles Finish 2nd At DuBois Invitational

The Kent State Tuscarawas golf team finished second at the PSU DuBois Invitational held at DuBois Country Club in DuBois, PA on Monday. The Golden Eagles finished with a team total of 322 which placed them second in the six-team field behind Pitt Bradford who won the event for the second straight year with a team total of 303.

Freshman Nick Reeder led the way for the Navy and Gold with a round of 77, going out in 38 and coming home with 39. He carded eight pars and two birdies on the day and was runner up medalist for the tournament. Kade Rainsberg added a round of even par on the outward nine and finished with 80, while Dakota Wright shot 81 and Adam Matusik 84. The Golden Eagles finished 26 strokes ahead of the third place finisher and have been runnersup for two consecutive years at DuBois.

On Saturday, the golf team will travel to Uniontown Country Club in Uniontown, PA for the PSU Fayette Invitational.
