After a three-year long hiatus, the KSU Tusc Golf Team hosted the Golden Eagle Invitational at Oak Shadows Golf Club on Friday and placed second out of four teams on the afternoon. The Eagles finished with an aggregate score of 350 to put them 10 strokes behind winner, Geneva College, but 25 strokes clear of Penn State Greater Allegheny and Miami Middletown.

The Eagles Nick Reeder took medalist honors with a round of 78 as he carded two birdies and 11 pars on the afternoon. He went out in 37 making a birdie and six pars on front nine and came home in 41 with a birdie and five pars on the inward nine. His birdies came on the par four seventh and par four 14th holes.

Dakota Wright shot 40/44/84 and placed fourth overall as an individual on the day. He recorded 12 pars on his round with six pars on each nine. Austin Brooks shot 48/45/93 and Cameron McIntosh went 51/44/95.

No rest for KSU Tusc as they travel to Youghiogheny Country Club in McKeesport, PA on Saturday for the Penn State Greater Allegheny Invitational.

Nick takes a cut at his ball buried in the muck as he stands in the hazard.

Nick loses his balances ala. Woody Austin style and nearly falls into the pond.

No problem, the ball is out and so is Nick!                                                                           Photos by Rob Brindley
