On the second day of the Gatorade Collegiate, the early showers and following high humidity didn't deter the Golden Eagles who improved on their first-round score by 11 stokes to finish with a two-day team total of 331/320/651 to place sixth in a field of nine teams.

Senior, Nick Reeder would take team medalist honors with a one under par 35 going out and a two over par 38 coming home, for a one over par 18-hole round of 73---a six-shot improvement on his opening day total of 79. He had two birdies, 13 pars and just three bogeys on his Sunday card and his two-day total of 79/73/152 finished him in a tie for 13th place overall. Reeder's 21 pars were good for 12th place overall and he finished T6th in par 4 scoring with an average of 4.10.

Playing in the number three spot, Cameron McIntosh had a 38/42/80 with 1 birdie and 11 pars---five strokes better than the 85 he carded on Saturday. He was also T6th overall in par 5 scoring with an average of 4.88.

Nicholas Wolverton and Scott Sauernheimer both improved their open round score by double digits. Wolverton shot 42/40/82 and Sauernheimer had 44/41/85 to round out the scoring, while Cole Eltringham was fifth overall in Par 3 scoring with an average of 3.13.

The Golden Eagles are on a mini break of sorts and are idle until September 15th when they travel to Grove City, PA, for the Grove City College Fall Invitational.
