Golfers Compete In Tough Field At Avalon

The Kent State University Tuscarawas men's golf team competed in Monday's Westminster Titan Invitational, which was held at Avalon Field Club in New Castle, PA. The Golden Eagles finished 12th of 14 teams in the field.
 
With an aggregate team score of 358, the Golden Eagles were led by senior Nick Reeder. He carded a round of 44/40/84 with seven pars and a birdie on the 6652-yard layout.
 
Also scoring for the navy and gold were, Scott Sauernheimer with a round of 45/45/90, Cameron McIntosh 46/45/91 and Cole Eltringham 46/47/93..
 
On Friday, September 23rd, the Golden Eagles host their own invitational at Oak Shadows Golf Club in New Philadelphia with an eight-team field in place. Tee time is scheduled for 11 a.m.
