Golf Eagles Earn Second At PSU DuBois

On a windy and sun-splashed Sunday afternoon in DuBois, PA, the KSU Tusc Golf Team took second place in a seven-team field at the PSU DuBois Fall Invitational. With a team score of 346 the navy and gold finished one stroke ahead of third place PSU Fayette (347). PSU Mont Alto won the title with a 328.

For the second straight tournament, Austen Gunn took scoring honors for the Eagles with a round of 40/42/82. He converted on eight pars and a birdie on the day. Cole Eltringham made two birdies to go along with four pars for a round of 43/42/85 and Drew Gallant continued his improvement with five pars and birdie going 43/45/88. Connor Rippeth made five pars on a solid front nine 42 and finished with a round of 91.

On Tuesday, the Golden Eagles travel to Wheeling, WV to play in the Bethany Bison Invitational on the Jones Course at Oglebay Resort in a 10AM shotgun start.
