Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2018 Coshocton High School senior to their softball team. On May 4, 2018, Hailey Myers signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.

Myers was a four-year letter winner and played second base for the Redskins softball team. She is also known as a power hitter. Besides softball, she was a cheerleader for two years as well as being a member of the CHS choir for two years. Myers has perfect attendance and has earned spots on the Principals Roll, Honor Roll, Merit Roll and was recently named Student-of-the-Quarter.

"We are very fortunate to have Hailey sign a National Letter of Intent to become a Golden Eagle," said Chuck Peach, Head Softball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "She is without a doubt a high achiever in the classroom and on the diamond. Her academic record is virtually spotless which speaks well of her character, dedication and thirst for knowledge. She is not the kind of person who just rests on her laurels and is going to be a joy to have as a teammate and fellow competitor."
