She volunteers her free time at local rec leagues and works with young girls on their pitching and fielding mechanics.

She will pursue a bachelor's degree in business management at Kent State Tuscarawas.

"Makaylee is very excited about for the opportunity to be a Golden Eagle and we are happy that she is coming to us," said Chuck Peach, Head Softball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "She has a lot of passion for softball and her speed and rise ball are outstanding. She's gives another dimension to our pitching staff and expands our ability to keep opposing hitters off balance with different looks. I expect her to continue her growth as a player and make a big difference on our team."
