Mt. Notre Dame's Hull Signs With Tusc Softball

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2024 Cincinnati Mt. Notre Dame High School senior to their softball team.

Ella Hull has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for the Golden Eagles.

Hull, primarily plays shortstop/third base and will be a four-year varsity starter for the Cougars. She was selected to the Second Team All-Conference in the Girls Greater Catholic League during her sophomore and junior years. During her playing time for the columbia blue, navy and white, they won two GGCL conference championships. She has accumulated a career batting average of .349 and an on-base percentage of .411. She was recognized as the player of the game four times and also plays travel ball for the Ohio Wolfpack team.

She earned a spot on the Mt. Notre Dame Honor Roll during her junior and senior years and will pursue a finance degree at Kent State Tuscarawas. Hull has taken a mission trip to West Virginia and participated in 24 hours of student led service through her school. 

"Ella is one of the first players that we recruited for the incoming 2024 class," said Larry Schall, Head Softball Coach at Kent State Tuscarawas. "Coach Micah and I got an opportunity to see her play in Columbus at a college showcase tournament and she did not disappoint. Ella played lockdown defense and made several great plays. After meeting with Ella and her mother, we knew immediately that we wanted her to be part of our program."

Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
