Third-Inning Burst Enough To Lead Penn State - Beaver Past Kent State - Tuscarawas

Penn State - Beaver defeated Kent State - Tuscarawas 18-5 on Wednesday thanks in part to 10 runs in the third inning.
Penn State - Beaver got on the board in the top of the second inning after Emilee Wagonner tripled down the right field line, Anna Moore singled, Haley Cook was struck by a pitch, Alison Delong was struck by a pitch, Mac Boyd hit a sacrifice fly, and Kierstyn Mays grounded out, each scoring one run.
Penn State - Beaver scored 10 runs on five hits in the top of the third inning. Selene Arleaga drew a walk, scoring one run, Boyd was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Mays singled, scoring two runs, Reza Benson singled, scoring two runs, Benson scored after tagging up, Arleaga drew a walk, scoring one run, and Boyd singled, scoring two runs.
Grace Yoder pitched three innings in relief for Kent State - Tuscarawas. The righty gave up seven hits and six runs while, striking out none and walking five. Kent State - Tuscarawas Fall After Strong Showing By Penn State - Beaver

Kent State - Tuscarawas couldn't keep up with Penn State - Beaver and fell 16-1 on Wednesday.
Penn State - Beaver got on the board in the top of the first inning after Mac Boyd doubled down the left field line, Koersty Mays grounded out, and Emilee Wagonner doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Penn State - Beaver scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Mays drew a walk, scoring one run, Wagonner drew a walk, scoring one run, Maria Matts singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
Penn State - Beaver scored eight runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. An error scored one run, an error scored one run, Boyd singled, scoring one run, Mays singled, scoring two runs, #31 doubled, scoring one run, Wagonner singled, scoring one run, and Matts hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
