Golden Eagles Track Looks To Take Flight

Golden Eagles Track Looks To Take Flight

With just two short seasons into the history books, Kent State Tuscarawas is still in the throes of building its fledgling Track & Field program. While track & field is still an emerging program for many members of the United State Collegiate Athletic Association, there has been a national championship held for several years in Delhi, New York each spring.

The Golden Eagles continue to build their program while acquiring the necessary equipment and uniforms for their athletes and opportunity abounds. Since the Navy and Gold does not currently have a home stadium, the team travels each weekend to meets thoughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia to participate in meets. Indian Valley High School in Gnadenhutten, Ohio is also very gracious in allowing the track team to hold practices sessions at Kelly Field Stadium just a stone's throw from campus.

If you are looking for an opportunity to continue your track & field career at the collegiate level while pursuing your college degree, please contact Coach Mark Albaugh at; malbaug1@kent.edu or by phone to 330-340-6925.
