The Golden Eagles Leah Wright continued her stellar play on the golf course Thursday, as she finished T21st in a field of 75 golfers at the Grove City College Fall Invitational.

Wright carded a solid round of 42/46/88 at Grove City Country Club's 5734-yard layout, ending her round with a birdie and a par on the final two holes. She also made par on the two longest par five holes on the course---the 470 yard seventh and the 480 yard sixteenth. She played the inward nine in just six strokes over level par with a 42, which is her second lowest nine holes of the season having shot a 41 on the Jones Course at Oglebay Resort.

On the season, Wright's 18-hole stroke average dropped to 89.5 which helped qualify her for the USCAA National Golf Championships at Penn State University in mid October.
