The Kent State Tuscarawas Wrestling Team defeated PSU Behrend 30-27 in their first match of the Case Western Reserve University Duals on Saturday afternoon. With the win in Horsburgh Gym, the Golden Eagles won their fifth match on the season against seven losses. PSU Behrend fell to 3-14 on the year.

Collin Mancuso and Mason Contini both won by pin in their opening matches on the day. In the 165lb match, Mancuso pinned his Lions foe in with 1:34 left in the second period, while Contini wasted little time by making quick work in the 174lb bout pinning his man in 23 seconds. Elijah Nash, Austin Bailey, and Lane Householder all won by forfeit as the Navy and Gold wrestled for the first time since January 12th due to weather cancellations.
