Kent State Tuscarawas Signs Reedsville Eastern Senior to Volleyball Team

Kent State University at Tuscarawas is announcing the signing of a 2018 Reedsville Eastern High School senior to their volleyball team. On May 7, 2018, Morgain Little signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball for the Kent State Tuscarawas Golden Eagles.

Little was a four-year letter winner for the Eagles volleyball team and garnered District 13 Honorable Mention honors in her sophomore and junior seasons, along with holding the Best Scoring Percentage award in 2017. She also earned the Tri-Valley Conference Excellence in Action All-League Award her sophomore year when she was also named Most Improved Player on her team. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, Little was named to the Volleyball Academic Honor Roll, the same honor she was bestowed in track & field in 2017 and 2018. She is also two-time recipient of the Meigs County Academic Excellence Award.

She is also the recipient of numerous academic and community-based awards, such as; National Honor Society, 2018 Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award, Student of the Month in 2017, Regional Scholar Ambassador Award, and was voted to the Model United Nations in 2015, 2016 & 2017. She has volunteered for the Meigs County Rescue and Adoption Center for three years, is a member of the Fairview Bible Church and does sign language and Black Light Ministry for the Leader in the Hands of God Ministry.

 "Morgain is quite an accomplished young lady and we are lucky to have her," said Mindy Craig, Head Volleyball Coach for Kent State Tuscarawas. "She loves volleyball and is not afraid to put in the time to improve her skills to get even better. She will be very impactful on our team and shows a great sense of pride and dedication to sport and academics."
