Golden Eagles Hire Craig To Take Over Helm

Mindy Craig was named head volleyball coach at Kent State Tuscarawas on January 13, 2018. She had been a volleyball coach since 2012 in the Conotton Valley School System quickly moving up to varsity head coach where she guided the Rockets for two years. She is currently a probation officer for the City of New Philadelphia, a position she has held since 2004. During her stint as volleyball coach, she earned certifications in CPR, Concussions in Sports, Coaching Fundamentals, and First Aid, Health and Safety for Coaches.  She is also a certified Peace Office through the Tuscarawas County Sheriff Department and earned that capacity in 1995.  She works well with the public and as a coach, Mindy was charged with keeping and reporting statistics to the Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference, supervising the CVHS staff of volleyball coaches and players at the varsity, junior varsity and junior high levels, as well as player evaluation preparation.  Her skills at organizing volleyball camps also illustrates her passion for the game and moving it forward to the collegiate level.
