The Golden Eagles volleyball team has been ranked in the USCAA National Coaches Poll for the first time in school history.

The Eagles received 55 votes and are ranked No. 5 in the country, just two points from third place and six points from second. At 9-4 on the year, KSU Tuscarawas is enjoying a winning season for the first time in five years. Defending champion UC Clermont is ranked first with 75 points.

Four KSU Tusc players are ranked in the Top 10 in statistical categories. Taliyah Johnson is 4th in kills with 142 and 9th in kills per set at 3.02, while Kylie Culbertson is 1st in service aces with 48 and Lindsey Seibert is 4th with 38. Lizzy Keller leads the team in digs with 152 which is good enough for 8th place overall.

The Eagles are hoping to get an invitation to the USCAA National Volleyball Championships in Virginia Beach slated for Nov. 10-12, 2022. Just six USCAA D-2 teams will receive an invite via a bid show on Wednesday, November 2nd for the pool play event held at the Virginia Beach Fieldhouse.
